....And to the Ontario Municipal Board it goes. City Council has decided to officially file an appeal with the OMB over a $1-million expansion of the works facility on County Road 30 proposed by Oxford County. City Council says the plan does not maintain the general intent and purpose of the Official Plan and does not represent good planning and would set a dangerous president in the future. While the decision to file the appeal with unanimous, council are offering to transfer ownership of land Tecumseh Street to the County of Oxford at no cost as long as they retire the Road Patrol Yard on the 11 Line.
