The Wellington OPP charged a 21-year-old from Central Huron, a 41-year-old from South Bruce Peninsula and a 31-year-old from Woodstock in a recent weapons bust.
MOUNT FOREST - A 31-year-old man from Woodstock has been charged in a weapons bust in Mount Forest.
The Wellington OPP arrested three people after officers spotted a suspected stolen pickup truck on Main Street North Thursday morning.
Brandon William Boettinger has been charged with the following:
- Unauthorized Possession of Weapon
- Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 - in Canada
- Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 - in Canada
- Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
- Failure to comply with release order - other than to attend court
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Opioid (other than heroin)
Officers also arrested and charged 41-year-old Pauline Laura Shearer and 21-year-old Kelsey Marie Chapman. Shearer is from South Bruce Peninsula and Chapman is from Central Huron.
Shearer has been charged with the following:
- Unauthorized Possession of Weapon
- Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
- Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order
- Personation with intent to avoid arrest, prosecution or obstruct justice
- Occupant of Motor Vehicle Taken Without Consent
- Failure to Comply with Release Order - other than to attend court
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Opioid (other than heroin)
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Methamphetamine
Chapman has been charged with the following:
- Unauthorized Possession of Weapon
- Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
- Occupant of Motor Vehicle Taken Without Consent
- Failure to comply with release order - other than to attend court
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Opioid (other than heroin)
