Canada's largest Dachshund Festival will be taking place tomorrow and on Sunday.
WOODSTOCK - The 24th annual Wienerfest Home County Festival is about to take over the Woodstock Fairgrounds.
It's going to be a two-day event this weekend, running from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. tomorrow and on Sunday.
It's Canada's largest Dachshund Festival and Organizer Linda Sonnenberg says admission is free by donation.
"I always wanted to have it as a goal for the festival that anyone who wanted to come could afford to come under their economic circumstances. So you can come bring a picnic, a blanket, sit in the shade, and bring chairs and stuff to make a day of it."
Sonnenberg says they will have over 100 vendors on site this year, and they're bringing back some fan favourite events.
"We've got the wiener races, bobbing for wieners, yogurt licking contest, and the costume contest where everyone dresses up like a hotdog."
You can find more information on their website and Facebook page.
