The Oxford Community Foundation is bringing back the coveted cow trophies for the Warden’s Golf Tournament.
INGERSOLL – There’s still time to sign up for Warden’s Golf Tournament.
The annual tournament is set to take place at the Ingersoll Golf Club on Friday June 23rd.
Louise Wardrop, Executive Director of the Oxford Community Foundation tells Heart FM this year will be extra exciting.
"Our coveted cow trophies are back and this year Warden Mayberry is challenging all golfers to a putting contest."
Almost 100 golfers participated in the tournament last year. They are expecting a similar amount this year.
Wardrop adds prizes will be also handed out for the longest drive, closest to the pin and the lowest score.
"We've got tickets for Leafs games and some fairly sizeable gift certificates as well but the Leafs game tickets usually go over quite well."
All of the proceeds raised will benefit the Oxford Community Foundation and you can find more information on their website.
