GoFundMe Created Following Work Incident

Sem Thin had to have both legs amputated following a work incident in Woodstock.

WOODSTOCK - A normal work day, ended with turama.

Sem Thin was working at a factory in Woodstock when at the end of his shift a coil caught his legs and pinned him. Thin was taken to the hospital, where doctor's eventually had to amputate both legs. He speaks to his thoughts and emotions during this process.

"I've been positive the whole time with it. My whole thing is that me being negative about this, not going to bring my legs back. I do have three kids, so I'm trying to, you know, show them that problems happen, you don't just give up, you can evolve."

His sister has set up the campaign, and he says how the donations are helping.

"Right now, with a lot of the funds and stuff, my sister has helped me kind of have a bigger picture of what we wanted to do. It would be trying to pay off a lot of financial stress that I've had."
