Update - Thursday January 21 @ 05:24
More information has come out about the collision yesterday that caused a Hyundai to crash into a house on Dundas Street.
Police say a red 2009 Hyundai was travelling eastbound on Dundas when it was struck by a 2008 white Ford van trying to enter the lanes of traffic from Houser's Lane.
The Hyundai veered off north through the ditch, crossing westbound lanes and onto a front lawn and then into the side of a brick home.
The two residents who were home at the time say it sounded like an earthquake, but they were not injured. The driver of the Hyundai was injured and taken to Woodstock General Hospital with minor hip and back injuries.
The 52 year old male driver of the Ford was not hurt but has been charged with Fail to Yield.
Total damage to the vehicles is pegged at $15 000, while the damage to the home is an estimated $20 000.
