A 4 year old child is facing life threatening injuries after a crash in Perth County.
PERTH COUNTY - A two vehicle collision in Perth County leaving 6 people injured is under investigation.
The collision occurred at approximately 3:34pm Sunday afternoon at the intersection where County Road 122 and Line 39 meet. A Toyota car was travelling Northbound on County Road 122, when it entered the stop sign controlled intersection and hit a Ford car which was traveling eastbound.
The Perth East Township Fire Department as well as Perth County Paramedics attended the scene to assist the six people injured. From the Toyota car, the adult male driver, an adult female passenger, and two children, a 7-year-old and 1-year old were transported to area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A 4-year-old child who was also a passenger in the Toyota car was transported to area hospital with life threatening injuries. The adult male driver of the Ford car was transported to area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Roads were closed for several hours as the OPP Technical Collision Investigators attended the scene to assist with the investigation.
