Starting on Sunday, you will not be able to fly to the Caribbean or Mexico from Canada as the Prime Minister announced strict new travel measures today.
CANADA - Starting on Sunday, you will not be able to get a flight to the Caribbean or Mexico from Canada.
Major airlines have agreed to suspend flights immediately. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made the announcement today. This measure will be in place until at least April 30th.
Also international travellers will now only be allowed to enter Canada at four airports including Pearson in Toronto along with international airports in Calgary, Vancouver and Montreal.
Trudeau also announced that all international travellers must quarantine at a designated hotel for 3 days and take a COVID-19 PCR test after landing. This will be done at the travellers expense, estimated at $2,000.
