Traffic lights are out and motorists are being asked to avoid Dundas Street and Oxford Road 4 after a transformer fire.
WOODSTOCK - The traffic lights are out at the intersection of Dundas Street and Oxford Road 4 near the Innerkip sideroad.
Police say the power outage was caused by a transformer fire. No word at this time as to what caused the fire. Motorists are being asked to avoid the area. If you do approach the intersection, please treat it like a 4 way stop. The fire did cause a power outage in the area impacting about 454 people. The power should be back on by 6:30 tonight. We will provide you with more information as soon as it becomes available.
