A pair of incidents in the Friendly City has resulted in multiple charges being laid by the police.
WOODSTOCK - A Brantford man is in trouble with Woodstock Police.
Yesterday at 2 a.m., a traffic stop was conducted at Ingersoll Road and Anderson Street.
During the stop, the driver provided a false identity, but it was later confirmed that the driver was prohibited from driving Canada-wide, was under suspension, and bound by a probation order. As a result, the 38-year-old is facing charges of operation while prohibited, obstructing a peace officer, failure to comply with a probation order, and driving while under suspension.
He was released on an undertaking and will have a future court date.

WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Police stop a vehicle for a unique reason.
This morning at 3:30 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of Springbank and Devonshire.
A U-Haul was pulled over, and the officer noticed and heard movement in the cargo area, and found two people in the back of the vehicle. As a result, a 52-year-old Woodstock man has been charged with driving a motor vehicle - performing a stunt with people in the trunk/cargo area.
The driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days, and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
