Leinster St. in Woodstock is returning back to normal this hour, after a stand off this afternoon. Heavily armed police in riot gear have took over the street at around 2 o'clock this afternoon. One witness told Heart FM the standoff was at the same Durham Cres. apartment building that saw a stand-off a few years ago where a woman was stabbed by her deranged boyfriend. A city bus was on stand-by to evacuate residents from the area, when the situation was resolved. There's no word yet from police on what transpired there this afternoon.
