Smoking is now prohibited in all public spaces at the Pittock Conservation Area.
WOODSTOCK - Smoking is now prohibited in all public spaces at the Pittock Conservation Area, Fanshawe and Wildwood.
The Upper Thames River Conservation Authority made the smoke free announcement today. Effective immediately smoking is only permitted on a registered campsite or in a designated area. Smoke free overnight sites have been designated for those who want to camp without having anyone smoking on adjacent sites.
The 2019 maps will clearly outline where the smoke free campsites are located and staff will continue to evaluate options on further smoke free initiatives in the future.
