United Way Oxford, Sakura House, and Andrew's Legacy have received large cheques from the Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign.
OXFORD COUNTY - The Smile Cookie campaign was a big success in Oxford County.
The Tim Hortons locations in Woodstock, Ingersoll and Innerkip were able to raise $122,218.84. The proceeds will be split between United Way Oxford and VON Sakura House, with each charity receiving a cheque for $61,109.42.
The Thamesford Tim Hortons was able to raise $31,154.35 for Andrew's Legacy to help purchased defibrillators for public places.
The Smile Cookie campaign took place from Monday April 28th to Sunday May 4th, and we have yet to hear the fundraising totals for the locations in Tillsonburg, Norwich and Tavistock. The Tillsonburg locations supported Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, the Norwich location supported the Norwich Salvation Army, and the Tavistock location raised funds for the Tavistock Assistance Program.
