The Toronto Police Service is investigating a shooting in the Fairview Mall parking structure. One person was killed and two others were injured.
TORONTO - One person is dead and two others were injured after shots were fired in a Toronto mall parking lot.
Toronto Police were called out to Fairview Mall at around 4:00 p.m. yesterday after receiving several reports about gunshots in the parking structure.
According to Duty Inspector Michael Hayles, officers found two men in their 20s suffering from gunshot wounds and one of them was suffering from life-threatening injuries. Both of them were taken to a nearby hospital.
Police say the third victim was taken to a local trauma centre by a personal vehicle. They passed away after receiving medical treatment.
The investigation is ongoing and no suspect descriptions have been provided at this time.
