Woodstock Police Auxiliary officers will be waiting tables tonight to help raise funds for the Special Olympics Torch Run.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police Auxiliary officers will waiting tables and serving drinks at Boston Pizza.
They are taking part in Shadow Night where the officers help the wait staff. 10% of the food sales from the night will go towards the Law Enforcement Torch Run Special Olympics. Auxiliary Staff Sergeant Deb Klemp tells Heart FM they have always had a great relationship with the Special Olympics.
"We have always had a great relationship with special Olympics here in the city we do a lot of stuff with them, we support them, we play sports against them, each year we have basketball games against each of the high schools and we also get special athletes to come and play and we have always had a good camaraderie."
Shadow night is happening tonight (Wednesday June 29th) at the Boston Pizza in Woodstock.
