OPP says bikers were en route to Friday the 13th celebrations in Port Dover.
Oxford OPP have cleared the scene of a serious collision on Perth-Oxford Road at 16th line in East Zorra-Tavistock Township involving two motorcycles.
Police say the bikers know eachother and were travelling together to Port Dover to take part in the Friday the 13th festivities.
In a media release, police said one man was airlifted to hospital having sustained serious injuries. He was listed in stable condition as of Friday afternoon. Another man was transported to hospital via ground ambulance to be treated for minor injuries.
The accident forced investigators to close Perth-Oxford Road between the 15th and 17th Line. and shutter 16th Line between Perth-Oxford Road and Maplewood Side Road for several hours.
