It was a busy stretch last week for the Woodstock Police Service, with five incidents resulting in charges.
WOODSTOCK - Two separate incidents had Woodstock Police laying charges.
First, on March 3rd at 4:40 p.m., officers caught a 32-year-old Woodstock woman driving with a suspended licence on Springbank Ave near Alice Street. She is facing a pair of charges, and the vehicle was towed.
Later that evening, a 56-year-old woman was pulled over in the area of Spencer and Butler Street. She was charged with driving while under suspension and will have a future court date.
The week continued the next day, as police were in the area of Clarke and Dundas and saw a prohibited driver. When police tried to arrest the 33-year-old man, he resisted and is now facing a list of charges.
Those include: driving while prohibited, driving while under suspension, and resisting a Peace Officer. The vehicle he was driving has also been impounded for 45 days.
It didn't stop there as officers noticed the driver on March 7th at 12:30 a.m. on Huron Street, and conducted a traffic stop.
As a result of the stop, the 55-year-old Woodstock woman was charged with driving while under suspension.
Lastly, officers were conducting speed enforcement in the early hours on March 8th when they noticed a vehicle on Dundas near Stratford Street moving at a high rate of speed.
The 23-year-old male driver has been charged with stunt driving and speeding. He had his licence suspended and his vehicle impounded for 14 days.
