Police reminding everyone to make sure your vehicle is completely clear of ice and snow, before you venture out today.
OXFORD COUNTY - OPP are reminding everyone that when you seen snow, go slow.
First Responders have been very busy over the past 24 hours. Police have responded to dozens of collisions, including several on the 401 in Oxford County. So far, no major injuries have been reported. The power was also out in the Town of Tillsonburg and surrounding area yesterday, impacting over 25,000 customers.
Police are putting the message out now to drive to the conditions, slow down and leave extra space between vehicles to adjust to reduced braking ability on icy, snowy roads. Driving defensively and responsibly during the winter months will ensure you and your loved ones will reach your destination safely.

One thing they are really stressing today is to make sure you clear off your windshield and windows of all ice and snow before venturing out.
Really? Don't be this guy ever! Make sure you clear the #ice and #snow from every window on your vehicle for everyone's safety. If YOU can't see it, how are you going to avoid it? Please #DriveSafe and #SlowDown. @weathernetwork @NorfolkCountyCA #NorfolkOPP ^es pic.twitter.com/mZxoxkXzBX
