Residents from miles away remain sheltered at home
Residents as far as 80kms away from the scene of a mass shooting in Maine are still sheltering in their homes as the search for the gunman continues.
Hundreds of police officers and FBI agents are looking for Robert Card, a U-S Army reservist, who they allege fatally shot 18 people at a bowling alley.
Yesterday, they searched a rural area home of a relative of the suspect.
Maine State Police say seven people died at a bowling alley, eight died at a restaurant, and three died after being taken to area hospitals.
The victims include a 76-year-old retiree who was coaching a youth bowling league.
