The Woodstock Santa Claus Parade is ready to take over Dundas Street.
WOODSTOCK - The festive season will kick off this weekend in the Friendly City.
Museum Square will light their Christmas Decorations Friday evening, and the popular Santa Claus Parade will travel down Dundas Saturday evening.
There are approximately 80 entries in the parade at this point, and BIA Manager Kelly Morrison says they'll be leaving at 6pm sharp.
"We travel west down Dundas Street to Vansittart Ave/Highway 59, there's a short little stint down there a few blocks but then it disbands right at Van Ave Park."
The parade is expected to last a little over an hour.
Morrison says the parade will include an appearance from the Toronto Blue Jays mascot.
"We're very proud to have Ace return and we've got Dubois Honda who will be supplying us with a brand new 2018 Ridgeline for Ace to ride in."
There will also be musical performances by the Burlington Teen Tour Band, Blind Dog Joe and Impact Percussion. Non perishable food and toy donations will be accepted for the Salvation Army.
