Colombo Club President Rick Eus 'transparency is key'
INGERSOLL- Colombo Club president Rick Eus will bring a level-head and common sense to the Ingersoll town council table if elected. The long-time Ingersoll resident has a number of priorities he intends to tackle including the proposed landfill in Zorra Township. Eus said he wants to, "look at the transparency situation here in Ingersoll as well...that has been an ongoing concern from a number of citizens over the past few years and each candidate say they're going to be more transparent but as soon as they get in not so much."
Eus added that, "it's something that if I do get elected I will be looking at better venues for communicating information to the citizens on a regular basis."
Eus is the ninth candidate running for 5 councillor positions on Ingersoll township. The election will take place October 27th.
You may know Eus from around the community he has been involved in a number of capacities.
"I've been volunteering within the community for a number of years from one point a soccer coach to currently the president of the Colombo club in Beachville so just running that and also running my own business and being a manage of a number of different businesses over the past few years."
Rick Eus will be creating a facebook page where he will provide constituents with information regarding his platform. He can also be reached by email: rickeus@sympatico.ca
