The Innerkip Lions Club will host the popular event this Saturday.
INNERKIP - You know what they say, one man's trash is another man's treasure.
The Innerkip Lions Club will be hosting Reuseapaloozaha on Saturday May 2nd from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m..
Organizer Scott McKague says you can find a lot of unique items, adding someone found a truck liner for Datsun from the 1980s.
"It was a very rare thing and I was tentative to accept it, in case no one wanted to take it with them. But within 15 minutes someone's eye lit up and it was the greatest find they ever had!"
He adds they also had very few items left when all was said and done.
"At the end of the day, I packed all of the leftover items in the back of my pickup and they were on the curb for large item pickup that week."
You can bring lots of different items to Reuseapaloozaha including books, clothes, tools, toys, furniture, kitchenware and more. However, you can't bring any car seats, helmets, upholstered furniture, hazardous waste or trash. Most of the items that are leftover at the end of the day will be donated to local charities, so you can't drop anything off after 11:00 a.m..
Another Reuseapaloozaha was held in Brownsville this past Saturday.
