Beginning on July 20th, the water meter replacement program in Brant County will restart. It was temporarily suspended in March due to the risk of COVID-19.
BRANT COUNTY - The Water Meter Program in Brant County will restart later this month. Due to the risk of COVID-19, the water meter installation program was temporarily suspended in Paris and St. George on March 18th for the health and well-being of the community.
The County has been working closely with Neptune Technology Group on an implementation plan to restart the program. County staff have recently met with Neptune Technologies Group to review their COVID-19 safety protocols for the restart of the program.
Staff is confident in the safety measures that Neptune Technologies Group have put in place for the residents' safety and their technicians. Neptune Technologies Group will or have started to re-engage Paris and St. George property owners for those properties which have not had their water meters changed in 2019 and early this year as part of this program.
Cainsville, Mount Pleasant and Airport areas will be contacted in the fall to start their change out program. With respect to this Water Replacement Program, there's no cost to the property owner. Neptune Technologies Group either have or will be in the near future booking appointments for this work.
County staff ask that residents cooperate with Neptune Technology Group’s call center and technicians to allow them to complete the work.
You can contact Neptune Technologies Group regarding any safety concerns, or special needs so they're aware in advance of your appointment
