Officials say Enfamil's Nutramigen A+ LGG Hypoallergenic formula could be tainted with dangerous bacteria.
CANADA - Health Canada says a recall has been issued for a brand of baby formula.
Enfamil is recalling its Nutramigen A+ LGG Hypoallergenic formula because it could be tainted with Cronobacter sakazakii. The dangerous bacteria cause infections in the bloodstream, intestines, and central nervous system which could become fatal.
No illnesses have been reported at this time and the recall affects 561-gram containers with an expiry date of January 1st, 2025.
