Every day this week, the Province has reported more resolved cases than new cases with 3,375 resolved cases being reported today.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 2,662 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 250,226.
Another 87 people with the virus have died, bringing the total number of deaths connected to COVID-19 in Ontario to 5,701. Meanwhile another 3,375 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 219,262.
The province completed 71,750 tests yesterday. We currently have 1,512 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 383 people in the ICU and 291 in the ICU on a ventilator. The areas with biggest increases today include 779 new cases in Toronto, 542 in Peel, 228 in York Region, 128 in Waterloo and 118 in Windsor-Essex County.
