Polls are open across the Country as Canadians will decide who will be the next Prime Minister today.
OXFORD COUNTY - Polls are open across the Country as Canadians will decide who will be the next Prime Minister today.
Experts suggest an even split between the Conservatives and the Liberals with the Bloc expected to take back some seats in Quebec and the NDP is expected to do much better this time around. The polls suggest we could see a minority Government formed today, however the polls have certainly been wrong before. The polls close in Ontario at 9:30 p.m. tonight and we should have election results, shortly after 10:00 p.m.
You should have received a voter card in the mail. Make sure to bring it with you when you go and vote today. If you did not receive the card, or if you have lost it, don't worry you can still vote. Just head to the appropriate polling station and they will have people set up to help you vote. Almost 12,000 people in Oxford County have already cast their ballots and took advantage of advance poll stations to choose their next federal government.
You can find your polling station online here, by simply typing in your postal code.
