Includes a Norfolk man facing sexual assault charges and a failed a roadside breath test in Thames Centre
NORFOLK - A man from Norfolk has been arrested and charged as part of a sexual assault investigation.
Norfolk OPP received a call about a sexual assault at a Highway 3 address on Saturday morning around 6:35 a.m.
As part of the investigation the the Crime Unit arrested and charged 29 year old Eamon James Bridgeman. He will answer to the charge at a Simcoe court at a later date.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and they ask anyone with information to call the detachment at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
THAMES CENTRE - A man was arrested after failing a roadside breath test in Thames Centre.
Last Tuesday around 10:07 p.m. the Middlesex OPP were tipped off to a man at a commercial business in the 3300 block of Dorchester Road. Officers found a brown GMC truck at the scene, and determined the man behind the wheel had been drinking. They placed him under arrest and took him back to the detachment for more testing.
As a result the 21 year old man has been charged with care and control while impaired.
He was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear at a London court in the new year.
