The 6th annual Play Date with Emily Stowe will raise money for an outdoor classroom at Emily Stowe Public School.
NORWICH - Emily Stowe Public School's largest fundraiser is coming back for a sixth year.
The Play Date with Emily Stowe is set to take place on Saturday March 3rd; with the Community Centre doors opening at 4pm.
The Norwich Optimist Club will cater the meal with the meat supplied by Norwich Packers.
Those who attend will also be able to bid for items in the live and silent auction. Parent Council Member Dianne Wise says there will be lots of items up for grabs, including special gift baskets put together by each classroom.
"There's always different themes; there might be a candy basket, movie night basket or a party basket which will have different items that are donated by all the staff and students."
Wise says all of the funds raised will be put to good use.
"The money this year is going into the next phase of the outdoor classroom. It also goes towards things like school (sports) uniforms."
The cash will also help purchase new technology for the school and benefit their healthy snack program.
Tickets are $30 a person and you can contact one of the following Parent Council Members to purchase them;
Dianne Wise: 519-536-6535
Andrea McPherson: 519-879-9863
Erin Davis: 519-536-1221
