One Oxford County team remains in the hunt for the Schmalz Cup.
PJHL - The conference finals are upon us in the Provincial Junior Hockey League playoffs.
The Tavistock Braves are the lone Oxford County team remaining in the postseason. The Braves began their playoff journey, taking on the Paris Titans, and were able to sweep them 4-0. Moving on to the second round, the Braves battled the Wellesley Applejacks and also were able to finish the series in four games.
Heading into the Doherty Division final, the Braves met up with the Woodstock Navy Vets. This is where they suffered their first losses of the playoffs and were pushed to a 7th and deciding game. The Braves came away with the 4-3 victory in game 7 last night at Southwood Arena to take the series 4-3. The win puts them into the South Conference Final against the Dundas Blues. Below is the full schedule of the series.
