Nitrile exam gloves and hand sanitizer are among the medical supplies the Oxford County Paramedics Services is looking for to support local health care professionals in the County.
OXFORD COUNTY – Oxford County Paramedics are appealing for medical supplies amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a statement yesterday, Chief for Oxford County Paramedic Services Ben Addley says the response to the outbreak has led to a shortage across the world, including gloves, masks, hand sanitizer and more.
As a result, they are appealing to local businesses and community partners for donations or supplies to support local health care professionals in the County.
They are looking for the following items:
- N95 masks
- Surgical/procedure masks
- Nitrile exam gloves
- Disposable isolation gowns
- Hand sanitizer
He says if anyone is able to donate, you can call the Paramedic Services at 1-800-755-0394, ext. 3550 or by email at ems@oxfordcounty.ca to arrange for a pick-up or drop off. Any of the donations that are collected will be shared with local healthcare partners.
