Norfolk OPP say they have recovered the body of a Mississauga man who drowned at Long Point over the weekend. 43 year-old Walter Santos was at the Long Point Provincial Park on Sunday with his wife and two children. The two kids, ages 12 and 15 were swimming in the rough waters with their father and were making their way back to shore when they looked back and could no longer see their father. Witnesses say Santos was struggling to stay afloat, and despite their efforts, he was pulled under in the strong current. OPP say Santos' body was recovered just before 9:30 am Monday morning approximately six kilometres from where he was last seen. Santos is the sixth person to drown this summer in Southwestern Ontario.
