Oxford County will be mailing out the remaining Ontario Works cheques on Friday.
Ontario Works cheques will be sent in the mail starting on Friday for anyone who hasn't picked there's up yet.
Oxford County announced they would not be mailing out the cheques last week because of a potential work stoppage at Canada Post. They had asked people to come pick up the cheques in person. Now that a tentative agreement is in place they will be mailing out the remaining cheques on Friday.
The issue did impact anyone who got their cheques directly deposited.
If you have any questions abut the status of your cheque you can contact Human Services at 519-539-9800 ext. 3390.
