The Province is reporting 411 new cases of COVID-19 this morning after completing 30,456 tests yesterday.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 411 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 537,487.
The Province confirmed 33 new COVID-19 related deaths this morning, bringing the total in Ontario to 8,920. There were 11 deaths that occurred in April/May that are now being recorded as part of a data review and cleaning initiative. Another 932 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 521,743.
The province completed 30,456 tests yesterday. We currently have 571 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 466 people in the ICU and 314 in the ICU on a ventilator. Most of the new cases are coming from hot spot regions with 97 new cases in Toronto, 72 in Peel, 35 in Waterloo, 26 in York Region and 25 in Hamilton.
