Starting Monday, anyone in hot spot regions with the Delta variant will be eligible for a second dose if they got their first dose on or before May 9.
Ontario is going to start administering second doses of COVID-19 to people in hotspot regions where the Delta variant is prevalent.
Starting on Monday, anyone who got a first shot on or before May 9 in Toronto, Waterloo, Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph, Timmins, Halton, York and Peel will be eligible for a second dose. This is a full month ahead of schedule.
Deputy Premier and Health Minister Christine Elliott made the announcement today.
