CANADA - We are 20 days into the Canada Post strike.
More than 55,000 postal workers hit the picket lines on November 15th and it doesn't look like the strike is going to end anytime soon.
Mediated talks between Canada Post and the Canadian Union of Postal Workers remain suspended at this time. Canada Post put forward a proposed framework recently, but the union said it didn't address key issues including wages and the expansion of postal services.
This is usually a busy time of the year for Canada Post with holiday deliveries and such. The Retail Council of Canada says the strike is putting businesses and their employees in jeopardy and it's calling on the federal government to intervene.
