Coming up on May 30th a pasta dinner to raise money for victims of two earthquakes in Nepal.
WOODSTOCK - A pasta dinner relief effort for the country of Nepal is happening in Woodstock.
Over the past month the country has been hit with two devastating earthquakes killing over 8,000 people. Countless others were injured in the quakes and thousands are left homeless following the destruction. With this in mind local church groups have rallied together and will be offering a pasta dinner with 100 percent of the proceeds going towards relief efforts for Nepal. Trevor Blackmore told Heart FM they are not going to set a price to attend the event and admission will be based on whatever you would like to donate to the relief efforts in Nepal.
The all you can eat spaghetti dinner is happening on Saturday May 30th from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Old St. Paul's church in the Parish room. Blackmore adds all of the food has been donated so they can give all of the proceeds to the people of Nepal.
