A mock disaster was held in Brownsville Thursday morning. This year Emergency Services got together to put on an active threat situation. It simulated a small town school dance that was interrupted by shootings. OPP Constable Stacey Culbert says many people come together to make a mock disaster possible: "We have partners that work together. So we'd have Oxford EMS in this situation, fire, police, and the MedQuest Committee as well. So we'd be looking at representatives from Alexandra Hospital as well as keeping in touch with the MedQuest organizers." Students from the MedQuest program were there to observe. One of those students was Megan Lambert who was surprised by the demonstration. "The TRU (Tactics and Rescue Unit) Team that came in, that was really neat to see because you don't really see them walking around downtown. And just how fast everybody works together. They all have a specific part to play and it's really interesting to see just how fast they come up with this stuff." View the video of the mock disaster below.
