The Woodstock Navy Vets, the Norwich Merchants and the Tavistock Braves will be back on the ice this weekend.
OXFORD COUNTY - Junior C hockey returns in Oxford County this weekend!
The Woodstock Navy Vets will be back in action at Southwood Arena tonight for a home game against the Wellesley Applejacks. The puck should drop at 7:45 p.m. and all spectators are being encouraged to wear purple in honour of Alzheimer Awareness Night. All kids under 12 will be able to watch Vets home games for free for the rest of the season if they are accompanied by an adult.
The Vets will be in Wellesley tomorrow night for another matchup against the Applejacks.
The Tavistock Braves will also hit the ice tonight when they host the Hespler Shamrocks. That game should start at 7:30 p.m.
The Norwich Merchants will resume their season tomorrow night when they travel to Burford to take on the Bulldogs. The Merchants will also return to Nor-Del Arena on Sunday for a home game against the New Hamburg Firebirds. That game should start at 2:30 p.m.
