CASS Graduate Matt James wins Governor General Literary Award
A prestigious award for a graduate of College Ave. Secondary.
Matt James captured one of 14 Governor General Literary Awards today.
James is an illustrator of children's books, and his work on Northwest Passage, which is a literary take on the folk song written by Stan Rogers.
James, who now lives in Toronto, picks up $25,000 with the prize.
He'll receive the award at a banquet at Rideau Hall on Nov. 28th.
