If Mayor Jerry Acchione is unable to fulfill his mayoral duties this year, Councillor Kate Leatherbarrow will step in as the Acting Mayor.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock City Council has appointed its Acting Mayor for 2024.
If Mayor Jerry Acchione is unable to chair a meeting or attend a certain event this year, Councillor Kate Leatherbarrow will step in for him.
She was appointed to the position during last week's council meeting.
Councillor Connie Lauder was the Acting Mayor last year. She was also the Acting Mayor for 2022, during former Mayor Trevor Birtch's last year in office.
