Oxford OPP are looking to return a stolen bike to it's rightful owner.
INGERSOLL - Oxford OPP are looking to return a stolen bicycle to it's rightful owner.
The Oxford OPP Community Street Crime Unit discovered the stolen bike after executing a search warrant earlier this month. It is an expensive women's road bicycle.
Investigators are continuing their investigation and are making every attempt to identify the owners of the property recovered. If anyone has any information that can identify the owner of this particular bicycle, they are being urged to contact the Oxford County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
Detachment Command Inspector Tony Hymers says our Community Street Crimes Unit has been very proactive with theft investigations.
"This in yet another example that highlights the need for the police and the community to work in partnership to resolve crime issues. People who commit crimes or who are involved in criminal activity, know the police are watching but if we create a community where these people know everyone is watching and reporting, that will promote safer communities within our County."
