UPDATE: Hydro One has called off this work for today because of inclement weather. However, expect these delays tomorrow. We'll keep you posted. There will be some lengthy traffic delays and detours in the south-end of Woodstock today. Hydro One will be stringing hydro lines on some of their new transmission towers that have gone up on Parkinson Road. As a result, Hydro One and Woodstock Police will be closing the Norwich Ave./Parkinson Rd. intersection throughout the day. There are no set times for the closures, but the first will begin around 11AM. They will be intermittent throughout the day, lasting up to 30-minutes at a time.
