Oxford OPP lay a number of charges against Tillsonburg man Tuesday afternoon.
TILLSONBURG -- Reports of a suspicious vehicle have lead to a number of charges against a Tillsonburg man.
Oxford OPP attended the scene at a parking lot on Lisgar Ave in Tillsonburg around 5:20 pm Tuesday afternoon.
After a brief police investigation, 26 year-old James Cayford was arrested and taken into custody.
Cayford is facing a long list of charges including:
- Impaired Care and Control of a Motor Vehicle
- Fail to Comply with Order of Probation x 6
- Careless Storage of a Firearm x 2
- Possession of a weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
- Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm x 2
- Possession of a Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order x 2
- Possession of Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order
- Careless Storage of a Firearm x 2
- Occupant of motor Vehicle Knowing there was a Firearm x 2
- Possession of a firearm obtained by Crime x 2
- Possession of ammunition obtained by Crime
- Impaired Care and Control Over Eighty
- Break and enter a place and Steal a Firearm
- Break and Enter Dwelling House Commit Indictable Offence
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
The accused was held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock.
