Entire Hockey Canada Board of Directors agrees to step down following criticism of the organization's handling of sexual assault allegations.
Hockey Canada has announced it is overhauling its entire leadership today.
The organization says effective immediately, President and CEO Scott Smith is out.
It also says the entire board has agreed to step down.
A new slate of directors will be elected on December 17th.
Meanwhile, an interim management committee will be put in place.
The committee will guide the organization until a new board of directors appoints a new CEO.
Hockey Canada has been under fire for the last several months over its handling of sexual assault allegations.
