The cupboard drive ends at 3:00 p.m. today.
WOODSTOCK - It's a chance to help people in need in your community.
Operation Sharing is holding a cupboard drive at the Woodstock Zehrs until 3:00 p.m. today.
Funding Development Coordinator Jessica Cheyne says they're looking for donations of food, household items and personal hygiene products.
"We're always in need of fresh fruit or canned fruit, as well as fresh and canned vegetables. Cereal and oatmeal is also something we're always low on. Any kind of cleaner for the home is always very popular with us same with paper towel, toilet paper and Kleenex. Stuff you would use every day."
Cash donations will also be accepted and Cheyne says all of the donations will benefit their programs that help people in need.
"One of them is the Food for Friends program, where anyone in the community who is in need of extra stuff can come and get these household and grocery items. We also have a breakfast Monday to Friday at the shelter and a hot lunch Tuesday to Thursday, so those items also get used through that program."
