Police are still investigating a hit and run that took place on Canada Day in East Zorra Tavistock.
EAST ZORRA-TAVISTOCK - Oxford OPP are investigating a hit and run on Oxford Road 17.
Despite the collision happening on July 1st, it is an open investigation and police are hoping the public can help provide some information.
Police say a pick up truck rear-ended a car travelling westbound on Oxford Road 17 near the 13th Line (Pittock Park Road). The truck was seen fleeing the scene eastbound towards Woodstock. There was no attempt by the driver of the pick up truck to stop and remain at the scene.
There were witnesses of the incident that describe the pick up truck as a blue Chevrolet, or GMC possibly a late 90's model.
It is believed that the pickup truck was damaged on the hood in the incident and may have had a red object in the truck's box.
