High School teachers will be staging an after school protest on Wednesday. The OSSTF will be staging rallies across the province, showing their discontent with having a contract imposed on them by the provincial government earlier this month. Here in Woodstock, teachers will gather outside the office of MPP Ernie Hardeman. President of the OSSTF for Thames Valley, Colleen Cannon says the protest will take place from 4-5PM. The initial plan was for high school teachers to walk off the job tomorrow for a day long protest, but that was deemed an illegal strike by the Ontario Labour Relations Board last Friday morning.
