Environment Canada says the hot weather will stay with us today, seeing the temperature reach between 30 and 32 degrees Celsius and feel more like 41 degrees with the humidity.
OXFORD COUNTY - Environment Canada says we can expect the hot weather to continue today into tomorrow.
They say temperatures are expected to reach between 30 and 32 degrees Celsius and feel more like 41 degrees with the humidity.
Tonight, temperatures will drop between 20 and 23 degrees Celsius.
Later tomorrow, there is a slightly cool and less humid air mass expected to arrive in the area. Among the areas affected include Woodstock and Tillsonburg.
Environment Canada says extreme heat affects everyone but the risks are greater for young children, pregnant women, older adults, people with chronic illnesses and people who exercise or work outside.
They say you should take regularly scheduled breaks if you are working outside and to never leave a child or a pet in a parked vehicle.
