Kids in Woodstock can beat the winter blues with a new program called Sportball.
WOODSTOCK - The City of Woodstock has the perfect programs for kids to fall in love with sports.
Sportball teaches kids 8 different sports every Tuesday night at Goff Hall and on Saturday mornings at Cowan Park. Supervisor of Recreation Programs Emma Vondervoort says it's a great program to get your kids active this winter.
"It's geared toward children between the ages of 2 and 8, the younger program is parent and tot, so it is also a good opportunity for parents to get active with their kids and help them to develop their fundamental skills."
Vandervoort says kids will have a chance to play all different kids of sports.
"The program focuses on teaching 8 different sports, so they will get an opportunity every week to try out a different sport."
