Oxford OPP are investigating after a fatal garage fire in the Village of Princeton.
UPDATE: Police have released the name of the man who died in a garage fire in Princeton almost a month ago.
The Oxford OPP say 59-year-old George Townsend of Princeton died at the scene.

PRINCETON - Fire crews rushed to a home on Victoria Street in Princeton after a fire on Friday morning around 9:30.
The garage was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived. Volunteer firefighters were able to extinguish the flames and prevent the fire from spreading. A person was located in the garage after the fire was over. They were pronounced deceased at the scene. The identity of the deceased is not being released at this time.
Oxford OPP and West Region Forensic Identification Services in conjunction with the Ontario Fire Marshal's office and the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario, continue to investigate.
A post mortem is scheduled and police will reveal the identity of the deceased, pending next of kin notification.
